Hope this is a complete list. If not, please help to make it complete one.

1996. (Small) Jamuna Bridge
1996. (large) Jamuna Bridge

Most likely I missed 1998 five taka.

You missed only 1998 small.

Peter
Does it really exist? I cannot recall that I ever saw that coin.

You are probably better placed than I am to answer that question. It is listed in KM, that's all I can tell you.

That's why I only gave years of coins I have seen. There are many years in KM that probably don't exist.

OK! Missing a year in my collection is not a reason to think so, but missing a year in the collections of several (known to me) specialists (in GB, F and D) should be a small hint to doubt about the existance of a year.  ;)

Thanks. But did you see or do you have 1998 Five taka Coins? If no then I can give up wasting my times for looking for it.

I never saw some or heard of it. Most probably it's a misreading of 1994. The Bengal 4 looks like an 8 to westerners ...

This is of course no guarantee, but I myself have stopped to look after it ...

I shall keep my eyes open. But shall not spend energy for it anymore.

I don't spot the difference between the big and little.  Can somone point them out?

Also I have a 1996 5-Taka and the catalog says steel.  Mine is not attracted to a magnet.
I also have a 2008 5-Taka and it is strongly attracted to a magnet.
Am I missing something in the catalog?

Out of station for next three days. Check them with your query when back to business. By this time if others could  come up with magnet and callipers.

Size is not the only difference, some small changes in design and legend too.

I have both kinds of 1996 and 1994, and all of them are non-magnetic ...
Not sure if you are missing something in the catalog ...
Maybe a special kind of steel  ;)

Paul.

Thanks Paul. Then Krause has wrongly mentioned them  as steel. But your picture have to be rotated 180 degree. Otherwise water will flood the bridge.

Well spotted Islam .... I have rotated them  :P
