Fake coin.  The seller is seasoned and uses duplicate name with only 4 feedback. Better ignore it. I cannot inform seller as he has cleared, it is token coin and not a legal tender. The purchasers have to take conscious decision.

This is common coin not even scarce and may be available with dealers.

No comments as to temple coin, black magic etc.

We do have a 25 paisa with Rhino on it but no such 50 paisa coin was ever released. Experts please confirm.

I want to make it clear that I was talking   particularly about that fake coin it self as above.
No Rhino 50 Paise coin ever issued. !992 25 paise rhino and 1992 50 paise depicting Indian map coins are issued. They are common and not scarce.

never heard about K&V in Copper Nickle.
is this a genuine coin?

Whatever little knowledge I have on the basis of that I can say that its a 100% genuine and scarce coin. Also, the seller Siddharth from Mumbai is a reputed and honest seller and don't think will ever sell fakes.  I have bought some coins from him and trust me he is a superb dealer.

KVIC does exist in Cu-Ni and I have a few. There was a long discussion on similar coins issued first in Cu-Ni and then withdrawn and reissued in FSS earlier on WoC. It is a long list

No 25 paise coin was issued in 1971. The seller wants to take advantage of this and doctrined fake coin as stated by Beekarji. The purchasers have to be more vigilant to deal such RARE coins available on net.

i found 1970 single coin to be more costly ie around 7999 from another seller.. but this man is selling the whole set for just Rs 4250/- and he also mentions

May be  this one fake, but I've 1971 -25 Paisa (b) Cupro-Nickel  coin from my school days lying inside Geometry Box  , when I was not aware what is fake & Numismatics.

What aan09 claims to have found 1971b 25 Paise Coin in his schooldays' Geometry box is true then it is really great find. The coin appears to be normal but it has to be examined physically. Perhaps it will surprise to all.
