The Gateshead-based company, which owns dozens of arcades across the North East, has been a long-term fixture within the region’s leisure sector, having been founded in the 1960s by William Noble, whose family were travelling showmen from the South Shields area. The company started out in the entertainment business in the 1960s, but quickly expanded to own nightclubs, bingo halls, amusement arcades, social clubs and cinemas.
