In 1993 Gibraltar released a circulating pound coin that commemorated the 1967 referendum.

An overwhelming majority of the adult population voted to remain British.

This circulating pound coin depictied the Rock and the emblem of the United Nations.

It commemorated Gibraltar's National Day and the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.
