The mint name reads: Fatehpur Nusratabad (KM#28.20), the coin is completely dated (nohsad-o-haftad-o-ek) AH971.

It was Oesho who made the attribution, but thanks anyway  :D
As for Nusratabad, I believe it is identified with Dharwar.

No, haftad = seventy.
Nusratabad on Akbar coins cannot be Dharwar as this place wasn't a part of the Mughal empire at that time.

How easily can one be mistaken. I read a Fe followed by a seen, which can be clearly observed on the second line of the reverse. As the date in digits is unmistakeable 981, the symbol I read as Fe must be part of He. So that Overlord is correct in his earlier remark, that it should read hashtad = 80. Thus the date is indeed AH981.
Reading Akbar Dams is not that easy, particular the written-out dates. Was it not that the date was given in digits, I would have been convinced that the date was 971. Nobody is perfect, lest me. Nevertheless thanks for pointing it out the error.

I think someone should start a thread on the Projects Board about unknown/unfound mints.
