Attention is drawn to post #34 and the two images of the dual metal farthings.

Excluding the Maltravers Rose farthings of 1636-42 (see here post #95) which contained a brass wedge, these Charles II dual metal farthings featured are probably the earliest British examples of true bi-metallic coins. Another dual metal farthing exists in the same series with half brass and half copper (divided along the diameter).
