This was the first guilder made of nickel that saw extensive circulation.
At the time most guilders in circulation still were silver. The new nickel guilders were regarded with distrust. They were slightly lighter than the silver ones (6.0 grams instead of 6.5 grams) which made them suspect somehow.

Good information, I'm learning.

I also have 1971 and 1972 in similar condition.
