Interesting copper trial, Deeman. Are there other examples that have survived or is this one unique do you know?

I have a number of die trials in my collections of tokens but nearly all are struck on lead, white metal, or aluminum. Some are high quality while others are crude. An interesting niche of numismatics in my opinion.

Believe it is extremely rare. Sold for £345 in 2001.

This 1994 strike trialling the Reuleaux polygon sold for over £1,000 at the same sale.

Twenty one years later I'd imagine one of these trials would fetch considerably more money in an auction or private treaty sale.
