Indian maybe Tanjore coin help to identify
« on: April 07, 2021, 01:06:26 AM »
Hello experts.

Can you help me to identify this coin?

Diameter 8.5mm

The seller told me that it is a Kasu coin from Tanjore km2.

But I didnt find any information about it.

Best regards

I don't think the attribution Tanjore KM 2 is correct. Even KM speaks of a four-petalled flower. The design on your coin may be a rudimentary flower, but it looks more like a sunburst and it definitely has more than four spokes. That said, I haven't come any closer to a better solution.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
