Two similar coins - Ancient India are they?!?!
« on: April 03, 2021, 07:27:30 PM »
Hello everybody,

I bought these two coins in a lot of Islamic Coins... but I think they look more like Ancient Indian, that's my hunch...  I would like to hear your opinions...

Here's what we know about them:
Coin 1:  1.6g  ||  10-11mm  ||  Copper/Bronze/Billon  ???
Coin 2:  1.7g  ||  10-13mm  ||  Copper/Bronze/Billon  ???

Thank you in advance for all your feedback...  =))

Since there are no reactions, I guess the fragments are too small to be read. I have owned such coins in the past and was told they were made by local smiths, to be distributed at large weddings.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
