It's Roman, but unfortunately a reproduction.
At the bottom you see a stamp with the letters "WRL", that's for Westair Reproductions Limited, the company that made them.

The legend is (capitals are letters on your piece, I added spaces, V=U):

TIberius CLAVDIUS CAESAR AVGvstvs Pontifex Maximvs TRibvnitia Potestate IMPerator Pater Patriae - Tiberius Claudius (his name) Caesar Augustus, High Priest, exercising tribunician power, emperor, father of the country (his titles)

This legend appears on an assus (denomination) of emperor Claudius struck around 41-54 AD. The same legend may occur on other coins.
