« on: February 24, 2021, 05:40:49 PM »
I am trying to identify an interesting South Asian Ae which measures 18.36mm and weighs 9.26g.  Could this be Mughal?  Any help would be appreciated!

Dear pogh poor, your coin:
Sultans of Jaunpur, Shams al-Din Ibrahim Shah, AH 825/1422 AD, Billon Tanka, mint? (AH 804-844/1402-1440 AD)
Reverse (First photo):
الخليفه امير المؤمنين خلدت خلافته  ,  al-khalifa Amir al-Mu'minin khulidat khilafatahu, meaning, "The Caliph, the Commander of the Faithful , may God prolongs his succession".
Obverse (Second photo):
ابراهيم شاه السلطاني خلدت مملكته    Ibrahim shah al-sultani khulidat mamlakatahu (May his kingdom last forever).
