2005 1 Rupee Cross Coin - Hyd mint (X symbol coin, not Plus symbol)
[Unity in Diversity]

Is this very rare coin?
May I know the rarity of this coin?
I couldn't find any auction details or sites who sold this coin.

While it could be a wrongly mounted die (if so, why are two sides affected?), it looks more like a broken collar, giving the flan an amount of "wiggle room". In both cases, this is a minor error. There would be little demand for it, but if you happen to come across someone who wants just that error, you may be able to sell above par if the price is right.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thanks for your reply Dheer and Figleaf peter..  I have 3 wrongly mounted 2005 cross coins, but this one is little different affected both the sides. There is no much difference so It could be common as well....

The 2005 to 2007, Rs1 and Rs2 coins are not struck well.  Every coin has some or the other error...
Finding a good specimen is more difficult.
