Dynastic Vietnamese issue for 1802-19.   Reign title Gia Long.   Reverse characters are for '7 phan', or fen, equaling 2.66g, about their actual weight so not indicating a silver value.    It is zinc, but may have been copper washed when produced.   They frequently have this reddish brown mineralization, which ought to indicate some lead present.    It is much easier to cast zinc coins with about 10% or more lead added, to keep the molten metal from catching fire easily.    However, the numerous zinc issues of the 1700's were almost always of the as-imported 99% pure stuff.    Northern Vietnam also produced zinc, so this may be their own product.
