Ethiopia to introduce standard circulating 5 Birr coin

In a statement of the National Bank of Ethiopia, its governor announced that Ethiopia will in the near future replace its 5 Birr banknote with a coin. 5 Birr is equal to 11 euro cents/10 pence.

I expect that the coin will indeed be bimetallic although it, because of its low value, would not make any sense.
