I am not an expert on these, but I still think it is somewhat likely that this is a copper coin. :)

I can't attribute it, but I would start my looking in the Mughal paisas. I'm assuming it's really thick, as those often are, like nearly 1cm thick? You might rotate the second pic 180 degrees--I think that would bring it right side up.

after rotation of the right picture, isn't it :"falus Bareli"  ??? or likekely better : "Elichpur" ,from "...ili.." " یلے " in center.

You can cancel "Bareli"... it's more probably a dam of Shah 'Alam II of Elichpur mint
