One of the wife's collection.  Nice to have linguist in the house but her hand writing :-[...Zhonghua…"garble" (Peoples Republic of China) 1993.  Feels like plastic.

The text in Chinese is the same as the text in English on the same side.

BTW, Yi (角) is one ;), so you don't need another one in the title thread :), in other words, the number and the character are the same as the text in English on the other side also.

Recently you mentioned dismes/dimes and I added décimes. I could have referred to this coin also: one jiao is ten fen and 1/10th of a yuan. The denomination got me in trouble once.

I knew I was overthinking this one.  After translation yes one Jiao :-)
