Nice coin with a lot of history! Although the date is not present, it can be inferred that RY 2 for Ahmad Shah Bahadur is likely AH 1162/AD 1749. Interestingly, KM lists RY 1 and 3 but not 2 for this coin, so this might be a little rarer.

I doubt the Regnal Year is 2 since it is partially obstructed by a shroff mark as shown in the attached image.
It could be RY#2 or RY#3

Although the date is not present, it can be inferred that RY 2 for Ahmad Shah Bahadur is likely AH 1162/AD 1749.
Unless by quirk of fate the Mughal Emperor ascended the throne on the first day of the new Hijri year, each AH will have 2 RY's and each RY will be spread over two Hijri years. So it is never possible to infer a specific date if it is not on the coin.

Interestingly, KM lists RY 1 and 3 but not 2 for this coin, so this might be a little rarer.
Again, it can not be confirmed of a coin being rare or scarce or common based on dates mentioned in KM. If a date is not listed, it may be that it was then not known to the contributor......
