Another interesting series of coins to compare. Fun to note how even coins of different sizes were kept close to the official weight. It is a clue that they were used by weight, rather than by tally. That may seem inefficient in modern eyes, but if all merchants have scales, it is workable and it obviates the need for protection against clipping.
