A nice Droz pattern halfpenny can be seen on my website at:

I ask that you look at it there as the acknowledgement of the owner of the image goes with it.

Magnificent addition, Tony. This design is so much better on both sides than the 1799 coins you wonder why it was rejected. I found another Droz design with a different signature, but very similar portrait in the Birmingham museum & Art Gallery.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Tony,
Your website link didn't come up at all,but I did get a ridiculous redirection page that is totally irrelevant.

Worked OK for me.

I have a gilt Droz pattern of a slightly different design that looks like it's had some circulation (or careless handling, anyway) - I'll dig it out when I get back to the office next week.

Martin,
I had to download Malwarebytes & do a scan.It turned out that it was malware that was causing pages to be redirected.

The second time around, the link came up O.K..

Tony, that's a very nice lot of coins you have got depicted on your website.
