UK, 2 pounds, 2005.


In 2005 Mr Elderton achieved his ambition of designing a circulating coin for the UK.

It was  2 pound coin commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the end of World War 2.

It portrayed St. Paul's Cathedral, London, during the Blitz.

A silver $50 coin accompanied the gold coin.
