I found this floating around the web. A 1997 sale of a set of Amsterdam company trade coins issued in 1601 for use in the Indies.

That's a mind blowing sale. Every single one of these coins is rare and any would be an auction highlight. I appreciate that they sold the set together. You can't separate coins like that.

Indeed. One of the 8 Reales in 'NGC-63' grade was sold in the over-hyped, overpriced 'Millennia Collection' last year, and realised $26,000 against a $13,000 estimate.

This sounds like a Richard Lobel special,as Coincraft often have these sorts of ads in the 'Coin News'.
