Hello, can anyone tell me if this coin is authentic?
Thanks in advance,
Nicola

P.s. The coin isn't in perfect condition of course, and on the obverse, around the lettering there's a light red tone, that gives me the doubt of its authenticity. But probably it's because the coin was cleaned.

Hi Andyg, thank you for your help :)
I also noticed this small detail: an little dot near the ribbon, comparing this coin with others online.
What do you think about?
Best regards,
Nicola

Nothing to worry about - another berry. Dies were always changed from a year to year, and within the same year, producing a large number of varieties which should be taken for granted, nobody will ever be able to document all of them in detail, nor there is a point for 18th century coins. Materials used these times didn't allow to strike a too large quantity of them.

Nicola

Hi Natko, thank you a lot for this so much interesting and helpful answer :)
Best regards,
Nicola

No problem at all. You can also see different leaves in the wreath on the top, different serifs in the lettering... Nice coin anyhow! Always problematic with head, like all Austrian issues.

Nicola

Yes Your're right :) Thank you again, Natko.
Regards from Italy,
Nicola
