Nice and spectacular error, Aernout. I guess the Brussels mint still had problems mixing their metals. Fun to see traces of circulation on this coin, evidence of how little people look at their coins. (No Fosseway, that sentence is not about small people. :))

I always check Michaux coins for date varieties ... and I have a few which aren't in SCWC ... (what's new  ;))
I see there are a lot more than I knew about !!
