Aurangzeb, Gold Mohur, Islamabad (Chakan), 11g, AH 1079 RY 11, KM 315.21

The place 'Chakan' is at Pune in Maharashtra renamed by Aurangzeb to Islamabad. Coins were struck at this mint for a very short period of time due to constant skirmishes between Mughals and Marathas with Pune located in the heartland of the Maratha area.

Thanks Mahe for your appreciation and kind words.

In public auctions, I have seen this mint categorized as very rare for Mohurs.
