A while ago I got these. Strange pieces from faraway countries ...

This is a dirham.

Then we have a gulden.

Piece #3 is a denar.

And last but not least ... a ducat or dukaten.

I am sure you already knew they are modern fantasies. Number one looks to me based on a (Bengal?) rupee with a fantasy text. Number two is a rather badly reproduced religious seal (Sigillum Communie Divionis). The horse is not being spanked. It's a gesture of blessing. Number three seems to be some kind of "magic coin" and number four is loosely based on a Sassanian drachme. May I venture that I expect all four to have the same reverse? :)

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Do they have a golden colour to them?

Absolutely. :D  Several years ago I bought a board game called Alhambra (in German "Der Palast von Alhambra"), later kind of forgot about it. Recently we rediscovered the box, only to find out that several parts were missing, had gone lost, whatever. So I trashed the remains but kept these "coin cards" (see attached image of the first two). Was curious to find out how much of the designs is purely fantasy, and what real pieces they might be based on. Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately only one has a golden appearance. And they're all made from paper or thin cardboard. >:D  Here are the other two. The other side is always gray and says "Der Palast von Alhambra". And here is some information in English about the game ...
