My first feeling about the lion says "modern fake !". But please wait for the judgement of the Mughal experts on the forum.

Leo Ah1028 Ry14 available in both gold and silver.

Check about authenticity ? As experts had been cautioning continously due to heavy no of fakes available in both international as well as domestic market.
Post image of edges also for experts views.
Cheers ;D

An absolutely shabby fake..............  The price you paid for this will tell you facts. This coin would, under normal circumstances, in a worn condition, cost over a One Hundred Thousand Rupees. In this condition a genuine coin would be worth over two or three times that. Besides that, it looks like a cast coin and not hammered one. - see the joint near the lions tummy and the surface of the coin........

Edge says "modern electrotype in copper, halves glued together and clad in white metal". No attempt to make it look real. Maybe used as a filler in an exhibition.

Copies/ Replica of Jahangir's Zodiac coins are easily available in market and are sold so, problem arises if they are sold as genuine.

The silver is definitely a fake and no, no copper coin of Jahangir in zodiac series exists... All copper coins of Jahangir in zodiac series are modern fakes

The silver coin is fake. On real issues, the Lion almost always faces the other way with date written below (RY 13). The AH year is AH 1027 often. In this coin, neither the design nor the execution nor the date is anything like the real coin.

Zodiac coin in copper is not known and on ebay, may be fakes or replicas.
