A religious token based on this type of Akbar's UZQ square rupee well exists (Brotman type 1 n°9), they are usually dated "913", the weight is often a little more than the mughal std,  the script is more or less of a rough style with mintname  wrongly written, and they are made of base silver.
A round half rupee token of this same type also exists (5 to 6g / I possess one)

If your coin has a good silver aspect and weighs 11 to 11,5g, with such a correct legend, I think it's well the Akbar's rupee ref. A.Liddle S35.
Such genuine rupees may have been corroded and looks like tokens.

Dear Rajagopaltall, if weight and silver aspect of your own coin are OK, I persist to think that you have too a genuine mughal coin even corroded  :)...

I agree that this one looks to be a coin and not a medal.

Don't worry........Rajgopalji. You have taken the correct decision. Only the weight would have confirmed if it was a copper coated coin (where the weight would hove been lower) or a genuine issue............It is not too difficult to get coin.
