Akbar square rupee Urdu zafar qarin mint 1000 A.H wide flan
« on: November 22, 2012, 01:15:55 PM »
Although a common mint of Akbar for rupee, the beauty of the coin struck me.. In compared most coins of this mint, this coin has a larger flan making the complete legend visible.. Another question is I know these coins are dated to be 1000 A.H but where is the date exactly written?? Do comment on the coin and post ur coins

The first part of the mint name appears to read Alif+Re+Waw+Waw (Urwoo?) instead of "Alif+Re+Dal+Waw" (Urdu).
