Another coin from the same reputed dealer. This one is said to be Aurangzeb, minted in Nasratgarh. AH 1101. RY has been badly counter-stamped. Please help attribute.

Tariq,
To me it does not look Nasirabad........ but can you please trace out the mint name as written on the Zeno coins...and also what is seen on my coin. .It would be a great help.

Amit ji,

I was a bit confused with Nusratabad & Nusratgarh, deleted that explanation over Nusratabad as it was meaning less.

Here is how the mint name Nusratgarh is written.

Sorry Amit ji, its very difficult to tell over this coin. Hope experts can throw some light over this.

Oesho

The fabric points into the direction of Nusratgarh/Jinji, but the date (AH1101/Ry.34) seems to be wrong. The date on coins of Nasratgarh is limited to AH1110 and AH1111.
There is dot below the re of zarb, which is difficult to explain. For so far, the mint will remain a question mark.

Note to Ansari: In the recent past can you think of one or two other coins that have had similar fabric damage and attributions that are questionable?
