The Royal Mint's 2012 Roadshow

As many of us know, you cannot simply visit the Royal Mint's facility in Llantrisant. But this year the Mint comes to you - sort of. :)

In the next few months (until November), "The Royal Mint is going on tour with a specially commissioned mobile roadshow. (...) The roadshow will be travelling across the country visiting 40 venues over 80 days and features fascinating information about the history of UK coins as well as a range of commemorative coins, gift ideas and special free gifts." Hope they do not forget that there is a northern part of England.

It looks like they already have. The text says the tour is for 80 days, so te program in the sidebar right is complete. If the action is successful, they may repeat it in coming summers, going a bit more to the North.
