Looking again at this coin, few remarks appear to me:

- the weight  doesn't fit with any AH X°c. dynasty
- the reverse style (with ornament) with coarse script leads to think to a princely state issue of Central India, and then the date I read as 902 could be better (1)952 VS....
- then, 6,22g well fits with a half paisa....

But ...that doesn't fit with "zarb Hazrat.."

Any idea from members will be welcome..

Due to my limited skills for  attributing these Mughal coins I resist myself for guessing , however I can't resist to admire this half paisa specimen full of luster & clear calligraphy.

Cheers ;D

Many thanks  for your replies and help.
Dear akona, have you any reference for this coin?

It was from memory but I will look tonight to see if I have any references in my library.

I remember a discussion on such coins in the early 70's where the name Hazrat (sorry wrong spelling in my previous post) in relation to Patna and an obscure short term mint in Bengal but that is out of this apparent date range came up as well as being Delhi.

I am wondering if what I read as "hazrat" could be better "qazan" (Kazan) , there are 2 dots over the first letter (H or Q ?) and another dot at the end which may gives "N".
So that could be a copper of Kazan Khanate ? and that could explain why the weight doesn't fit with an indian coin..
