Here is a Dam of Akbar with a mint name that looks / reads very much 'Ajmer' I am unable to rea the date. please help confirm attribution.

Sorry to spoil the game, but the coin is not of Ajmer, but of Chitor (KM#28.14). Both issues are very much alike and one has to carefully observe whether the mintname is ending with an 'r' or that something more is following, like 'twr'.

I was led astray by the symbol on the reverse and took the wrong turn not realising that it also obviously occurs on coins of Chitor. Lesson learned here which is somewhat important elsewhere at present.
