As far as I can see, it is an issue of Ahmadabad, Dar al-Sultanat.

I Can't see any coin in the catalogues for year 991.

The date is confusing, as references list the type ending in 987.  Ahmedabad started issuing square rupees in 987.

As we know from the preliminary work on Shah Alam 1 the catalogues are often interesting to say the least about dates.

If the date can be determined (I am a little confused by it and will need to download the image) and it is not in the catalogues please post on the Projects board for follow up.

Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the legend. It is not a coin of Akbar, but of the Sultans of Gujarat, Shams al-Din Muzaffar Shah III. Rupee, Ahmadabad, Dar al-Darb.
