Bosnian coins, especially 1 marka issue is awful. My billiards bar got better tokens. Since all national symbols are forbidden by the law, they had no much choice but to copy artificially made flag. Dove saved disaster.

All flags are artificial, and represent the dominant part of society. Bosnian coins are ok, Bulgarian ones are ugly and boring.

I would not go so far as to say they are ugly but they are for sure BORING!
USA president coins are very boring too but not necessarily ugly.

Beatrix...I agree it is definitely a sculpted look but I don't know what to make of it.

The Victoria and Daniel piece looks like the clay models used to cast Bronze sculptures before the final casting is complete. In casting, often the clay models are quite ugly and incomplete.
After all they are an intermediate stage.

So in actuality that one to me simply looks incomplete, and not necessairly ugly.

The Beatrix portrait is part of a coin with a "sculpture" theme. So while I may not particularly like the design, it makes some sense to me. :)
