Russia 1802 10 kopek - a rather tough coin!

I normally don't see this coin on offer hence I had to grab this coin when I saw it.



A tired worn coin yet it just doesn't show up in the market very often. Do you have one in your collection?

Yes, this coin is rare. But I've found 3 pieces at the Russian online auction "Molotok".
- USD 157 for the same grade as you bought
- USD 785 for VF grade
- USD 1100 for the coin that seems to be XF-

And on both, the zero in the date is too small. Odd.

Too small, or just out of alignment?  The base of the 0 lies below the base of the 8 and the 2.
