Not scarce or rare according to Liddle's catalogue (Type S-16). For Agra, AH981 is the first date recorded for this type by Liddle. The year is readable from outside on Agra coins and from inside on the coins of the other two mints of this type (Ahmadabad and Anhirwala Pattan; compare with the Ahmadabad coin here). Liddle also records that the Ahmadabad and Agra mints appear to be simultaneous issues commemorating Akbar's brilliant second campaign to gujarat.

Dar al-Khilafat Agra would appear on the lower margin of the side with the emperor's name, but is almost completely off on this specimen. I believe that square-area type coins with complete or almost complete mint names are pretty rare, irrespective of the type.
