This coin is listed under KM # 676 as Shah Alam II silver rupee, under the Local Governor issues.

This coin was issued by General Perron (Under Daulat Rao Sindhia), from Saharanpur Mint.

The Mint mark of Circled dot is clearly visible.

The KM lists only dates of AH1216/RY43 and AH1217/RY44.

This coin shows date of AH1215 and RY 42, which is not listed under KM.

Dear Abhay, I have the same date, but with a ώ mark. This may be a pre-Sindhia issue.

Dear Oesho,

The Std. Guide to South Asian Coins and paper Money states that the rule for General Perron was between AH 1215-1218/ 1800-1803.

So, if this is 1215 coin, it seems more like a Sindhia issue only.
