In 1974 the Royal Mint produced a crown-sized 10 rupees coin for the Seychelles.

It was minted in silver and also copper-nickel versions.

Numista lists the copper-nickel version as a standard circulation coin.

The issued coin was arranged through Spink. The reverse design of the turtle has been attributed to Suzanne Danielli, who designed the reverses of the Seychelles coinage of 1976 and 1977. However, the Royal Mint Museum has no record of Ms. Danielli's involvement with the 1974 10 rupees coin.

Seychelles, 10 rupees, 1977.
The Royal Mint produced very similar 10 rupees designs for the Seychelles in 1976 and 1977.

Those designs were indeed attributed to Suzanne Danielli.
