Sierra Leone, 2 leones, 1976. 

The obverse shows Siaka Probyn Stevens (1905-1988).

He was the third prime minister and the 1st president of Sierra Leone.

Bahamas, $25, 1985.  West Indian flamingos.


These designs by Michael Rizzello formed a three nation bird conservation set.

Each silver coin was 63 mm in diameter.

Jordanian, quarter dinar, 1969.


Mr Rizzello designed the reverse of this coin.

Its FAO-themed design features an olive tree.

In 1979 the Turks and Caicos Islands issued a 10 crowns coin and a gold 100 crowns coin.

They marked the 10th anniversary of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales.

10 crowns is equivalent to 10 US dollars, the official currency on the islands, which are however a British possession.

Michael Rizzello produced several portraits of Prince Charles, usually catching his more sombre and serious side.

In 1979 Jamaica issued this 25 dollar coin.

It marked the 10th anniversary of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales.
