Malta 2 euro 2015 100th anniversary of the first air flight from Malta

February 13, 1915 from the Grand Harbour - the largest harbor in Malta - was made the first official air flight. In the south-eastern shore of the great harbor is heavily fortified back in the days of chivalry fortress city of Senglea. At the end of the city on the sea wall of the fortress located watch tower Vedette, is a small hexagonal tower with a dome-roof, the walls of which are reliefs symbolizing the Marine Patrol - ear, eye and bird.
