Title: Akbar Dam Dehli Ilahi IE4X Ardibihisht
Post by: TTerrier on March 30, 2020, 04:35:14 AM
Here is my first one of the Ilahi coins - part of the year is missing but the month and mint are quite clear.  The form of zarb at the bottom of the reverse is speculative on my part but I think it's supposed to be there.

Akbar dam, 20.59 gm, 20 mm, KM#32.9, IE4X month of Ardibihisht (2nd month), Dehli mint.  cf Zeno #77316

Stay safe everyone!

Thank you for your comments - I in fact used your excellent Ilahi examples to figure my coin out.  I have a few more of this type so I will definitely be referring to it again.  Lots of interesting things to learn about these Akbar dams!

Majestic, that calligraphy. It conveys messages from stability to a skilled artist's steady hand. More such utterly helpful overlays make it easier for others to develop their skills.
