Please identify this coin. Seller simply mentions as princely state. Weight 16.17 grams.

Elichpur, copper paisa. The name of the ruler begins with an 'A..., most likely Shah Alam II or Alamgir II. I would prefer the last. See also: https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=126664 (https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=126664)

Thanks a lot for your reply. But, in the reverse of the coin, the coin i posted has w shaped letter in two layers, whereas in the zeno coin referred by you has got only one such w shaped inscription. Any idea about that?

The W is a part of the 'S' of Shah in Badshah and Shah of Shah Alam / Alamgir.

Any chance to consider Aurangazeb Alamgir?

Based on Abhishek's theory (mentioned here in details (http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,48299.0.html)), This is Alamgir II for sure.

Not too sure. Could be Shah Alam ii as well.
