Title: China, Ta Chung (1364-1367), Remmelts 166
Post by: Figleaf on December 03, 2013, 10:55:42 PM
A very nicely preserved iron coin of the first Ming emperor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hongwu_Emperor) as he was consolidating his empire. He succeeded to drive out the Mongols and unify China in 1381.

My worry is that Remmelts seems to say all coins have at least one character on the reverse.
