A very interesting coin wich seems to be an early dam of Akbar which looks like the n°879 of the "Catalogue of mughal Coins in Lahore Museum" / Whitehead.
The legend on right scan gives clearly "..khallad Allah..+ line +..mulkh.." ; on the left scan, it is'nt very clear but I think we have parts of "Muhammad...jalal...zaman".

The full legend of n°879 is (from top to bottom):" date (965)/ sanah / khallad Allah ta'ali mulkh zarb Alw(ar)" and on obverse :"Muhammad kbar badshah ghazi jalal al-din fi zaman"
The mintname of this coin is cut but is most probably "Alwar"

unfortunately the photo on the catalague is very poor, but your coin is very similar.

Having a second look on your coin, it appears that we can see, after "mulkh" "z(arb) Alw.." which may confirm the mintname as Alwar.

Dear saro, you have my profound thanks.

I found a better illustration (given below) in the online version of the catalogue. It is indeed the same type. Valentine misread the "mint" part of the reverse legend as "abda" (Valentine#511a), which makes your brilliant analysis even more impressive.
