Help identify Counterstamp of Ottoman Empire please

Unfortunately, I don't understand these coins but it's listed as an 1844 Ottoman Empire 40 Para. The counterstamp interests me very much, but don't know if it's an official government mark or not. Any help deciphering it would be most appreciated.

I think the counterstamp is Greek (kappa * lambda), which could very well mean that it is a church token.
