Akbar, Falus of Malwa-type: Two examples and a question
« on: December 18, 2009, 09:20:39 AM »
The examples I post here don't quite appear to be the same as the one discussed here. While I can read Akbar's name and titles by "combining" the two coins, I can make head nor tail out of the lower portion of the reverse. Am I combining the reverse incorrectly or trying to combine two different reverse types? Any help would be appreciated.

The masses of the two coins are
Upper: 6.4 g
Lower: 6.6 g

Obverse Jalal Al (Din) Muhammad Akbar Badshah (Ghazi)

Reverse Wa Sultan...
