Coins are so educational. I had never heard of this sultanate or the Farooqi family until you came up with the two coppers. One of the last areas to fall into British hands. They must be a tough lot there.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thank you Peter.
On a closer look, the coins have different arrangement of the legend. On coin ID Kd#001, "wa" between "al dunya" and "al din" is below "Nasir". On Kd#002, that "wa" is on the line above "nasir". Another possibility is that it could be the "u" meant to make "da" into "du" for "al dunya" as seen on some of his half falus coins. In that event , the character "wa" should be off the flan on the right side of " al" of "al din". But on Kd#001, there is no trace of  "u" for "dunya" nor does it look to have gone off-flan. Here "dunya" is written as conventional "danya". Anyway they are two different varieties. On the bottom  line, "muzaffir" is visible on both. But there is something seen on both of them to the left of nasir which I get no idea about!

Could it be a Nagari letter?
