The stylised script of the reverse of this coin is not easy to decipher, it reads as "بتاریخ الخیرفیما وقع " / "whatever happens is best" a somewhat mysterious sentence from which " الخیرفیما وقع" in the abjad code gives the date of accession to the throne of Nadir : 1148 AH .
On this coin dated 1149 AH, the mint is off at bottom of obverse
The Abjad code is a decimal numeral system in which the 28 letters of the Arabic alphabet are assigned to numerical values.

Fascinating: I have two coins of Meshed with this chronogram reverse, but both dated 1150 H. I very much liked the design, but was totally ignorant of the significance :-[

Thenk you very much for posting the explanation, and I've taken the liberty of quoting it on my database.

You did well Alan   :)
Such coins have been minted at Meshed and Shiraz; the main difference is that those from Shiraz have the mintname present inside the two loops of letters " خ   " and  "   ع  " (of "tarrikh" & "waq'a ") and coins from Meshed have the mintname at bottom of obverse.
On coins of Meshed, to" facilitate" the reading  ::) the words " بتاریخ " and " الخیر  " are merged....

Dear Saro, please note the correct text is "بتاریخ الخیر فیما وقع", you have Tarrikh meaning (date) correct in English but in Arabic you put " د " instead of " ر " and the word " بتاديخ " became meaningless. May be it was a typing error in the Arabic alphabet.
It is a beautiful coin, thank you for showing.
