I thought this might be interesting to some of you, a forced currency Tanka of Muhammad Tughluq that appears to have been cancelled on one side with one part heavily chop marked.
It's unusual because the centre circle is exceptionally small at 10mm, all the others I have are around 15mm so apart from that I can't see what is wrong apart from being well off centre but most of them usually are. not sure which mint it is

normal weight at 9.32g    AE20

It doesn't look counterstamped, or there would have been a flat area on the other side.

It may have been chiselled, but the chiselled cancellations Oesho has posted are deeper and across the coin.

I think the coin was used as a support or protective underground, e.g. to protect a piece of wooden furniture from damage

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Perhaps it has been under a wonky table leg for a couple of hundred years  ;D
I didn't think it had been counterstamped, I thought at first it was double struck as the circles around the legend don't look right somehow.
the mint on these coin is down the left margin & it's mostly visible on the coin but I can't make it out , hopefully someone can read it

Got one yesterday..But with a weight of just 8.3 grams..dated AH 731..could this one be a contemporary counterfeit?

Most likely, large numbers were counterfeited so it's very probable,  it's still of historical interest
